God's Plan of Salvation
One thing in this life is certain. Death. Sooner or later we all have to die. When your time comes, will
you be ready? According to scripture, all of us have sinned and fell short of the glory of God. All of
us need a Savior. All of us were born into sin because we are the descendants of Adam. God gave
us this Savior when He sent His Son Jesus to live and die for us. Jesus paid a debt that none of us
could pay. He paid the penalty for sin for all of us. The Bible says that we must be born again to
enter heaven. That no sin can enter heaven. A simple faith in the power and grace of God can
deliver salvation to you, if you believe.
Romans 10:9-10 says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Simply pray and ask God to forgive you, turn from your sin, and turn to Jesus for His cleansing
blood. There are no magic words to say or no standard other than this. You must humble yourself
before God, truly repent of your sin, and ask believing that God will do what He said that He would
do. God takes us just as we are, and no one is too bad to be loved and accepted by Him. It has been
said many times before that the ground at the cross is level, we all stand in the same place.
Everyone must make a decision about the cross and Jesus. He is the door which allows us to go in
but he is also the door that shuts and keeps some out. Some who come to the cross will find
redemption through salvation and some who come to the cross will be condemned because of
their unbelief. Which will it be for you?
Heaven or Hell?
A simple prayer like this is all it takes:
Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and that if I died right now I would be forever separated from
you and from life in heaven. Lord, I confess my sin to you and ask you to forgive me my sin,
cleanse me and receive me into your kingdom. I don't know how to live for you, but I trust you to
lead me and make of me what you will. Thank you for saving me.

If you have just prayed a prayer similar to the one above and were sorry for your sin and sincere in
your prayer, then God will save you. It is that simple. First you realize that you are lost, then you
confess and then God saves. Now, look at the time and date below and remember this as your
spiritual birthday, when you were born again!
