In Exodus 25,  God gives Moses the instructions for the building of a tabernacle. The instructions were very specific
even to the offerings they were to bring. In verse 8 we find that the sanctuary, or tabernacle is needed for God to
dwell among His people. The instructions were given a few weeks after God had delivered the children of Israel from
bondage in Egypt. The tabernacle would be the place where God would dwell in the desert with His children. The
tabernacle was divided into three sections. The outer court, the holy place, and the Holy of Holies. The outer court
was were the sacrifices were offered. The holy place is where the priest would prepare himself to enter the Holy of
Holies. The Holy of Holies is where the ark of the covenant was kept with the presence of God. When the priest
would go in here, he would sprinkle the blood from the sacrifices onto the mercy seat. The tabernacle was portable
and God included specific instruction on who was to move which part and how it was to be moved. This tabernacle
provided a way for the children of Israel to have forgiveness and God’s presence in the desert. This is a very short
description of the tabernacle and I encourage all to visit the tabernacle to study it as it is a picture of Christ for us.
When God gave these instructions to Moses, around 1450 years before Jesus was born, He gave a description of
who and what the coming Messiah would be. The reason for all this tabernacle stuff? This is where Wheels of Faith
got the colors for our logo and patches. The tabernacle only had one door to enter into the outer court. This was a
large curtain made of fine linen, colored in blue, purple, red and white. Each of the colors have a significance:

BLUE indicates heavenly and Godly. Jesus left heaven and came to earth to  save and  redeem us.

PURPLE signifies kingship or royalty. In Matthew 28:18 Jesus declared, “All authority in heaven and on earth is given
to Me.”

RED signifies blood. In Mark 10:45 Jesus said He “came to give His life a ransom for many”

WHITE signifies purity and Christ’s sin free life.  Luke 23:4-14 Pilate says of Jesus, “Behold I have found not one fault
in this man.”

These four colors were woven together to become the complete door to the tabernacle, just as the four gospels are
woven together to give a complete picture of Jesus. He is pure and righteous, Kingly and Godly, and this is how HE
as a man can be a ransom , the door for us to enter into God’s presence. Jesus declared rightly that He is the door,
the way the truth and the life. Jesus is the only way we have to heaven. When the design for the logo was being
developed, it was important to us that as a ministry we should reflect only the Lord Jesus Christ. The shield was
chosen because we have a shield of faith. The colors were chosen because they are the colors given in scripture to
show Jesus in all His glory. When we go out we have the whole plan of salvation on our backs for the world to see.

The blue represents heaven where Jesus left to come here for us.

The red on the cross represents our sins, which are as scarlet. The red also represents the blood of Jesus, which
covered our scarlet sins.

The white on the cross represents the purity of the sacrifice that God accepted.

The purple in our banner represents the royalty of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings; Jesus Christ.

We wear this logo not with pride, but with humility. We try to always be mindful that the only Jesus some may see is
the Jesus they see in us. It is our prayer that just as these four colors were woven together to make a complete door
for the tabernacle, that we can as members of this ministry, be woven together to form a complete body of people
that Jesus can use and count on to do His will, and to share His gospel, in His name.

Logo
This image is our logo. If you have
attended any of our events, you
have seen this on our vests and
t-shirts. When we were just
starting, we wanted a logo that
would only reflect Jesus. The
following is why we chose this one.
